The St. Philip School Council

Call for volunteers with a flair for the arts!!!

FANTASTIC news out of the school council meeting tonight!!! Several of the teachers have agreed to take on a school play project this year!!! The play is in initial planning stages at this point so I don't have any specific details to share BUT I am reaching out to our very talented parent community to see if there are any passionate actors or actresses or anyone else willing to be involved in this project as volunteers to support our teacher team. For those that watched or were involved in the "We Are Monsters" play two years ago, you will remember what a fabulous opportunity this was for our kids and I hope you will consider helping out this year if you can. Please contact me to be part of this project. (danakean@gmail.com)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:)

New policy re: Lost and Found donations

Hello all,
Just wanted to share the new policy in regards to Lost and Found items at the school.   The Lost and Found bin is located at the front entrance of the school in a large Tupperware bin.  To deal with the large quantity of items that are left unclaimed, in the past, they have been donated to charity periodically throughout the year.  Going forward, there will be a one week notification given to parents before a Lost and Found donation is made.  Notification will be given via the Synervoice messaging system.  There is no set schedule for donations, once the box is full, the donation will be made.

If you have lost items, please encourage your child to visit the Lost and Found to reclaim them.

This policy was agreed upon and communicated by Mr. Kelly at tonight's school council meeting.

Thank you,
Dana Kean
