Dear parents,
The parent council has for the past few years funded
classroom bags with sports equipment for students to use at recess time.
Although our focus this year has been on the play structure, we intend
to continue this initiative as it is very much appreciated by the
students and staff. It was suggested at the council meeting that we put
a request out to parents who may have extra soccer balls, skipping
ropes, boxes of chalk or other items sitting unused in their garages
before purchasing brand new items. Here is a list of the types of
items requested by teachers so far, please consider if you would be
willing to donate any of the following:
- footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, tennis balls
- frisbees
- chalk
- skipping ropes
- trucks/shovels for digging in sand
- outdoor water/sand table with gardening tools
- sand toys
Thank you in advance for any support you can offer. Please contact Jodi Eady jodieady@yahoo.ca to arrange drop off of items.
