There was some confusion as to what the roles and responsibilities were for Alternative Parent Rep and Parent at Large.  A clarification e-mail will be sent out with a link to the Constitution to verify if parents wish to still be a member or whether to just attend meetings when available and volunteer to help with various initiatives.

Financial
The opening balance is $16,167.72, of which $16,000 was set aside in June for School Yard Improvement.
Council will look into setting up a separate account to hold the funds for the School Yard Improvement.

Teacher Report
Kelly Butler and Colleen Bailey will alternate.

Sports teams for the year are as follows:
                  Soccer (September)
                  Cross Country (October)
                  Badminton (January)
                  Handball (February)
                  Basketball (April)
                  Ultimate Frisbee (May)
                  Track & Field (June)

Some clubs have started:
                  Choir
                  Green Team
                  Genius (coming soon)

There is currently a decent number of iPads in the school.  Netbooks are outdated and the batteries are at the end of their life (need to be plugged in).  Some Chromebooks have been purchased and teachers would like Council’s support in purchasing additional ones.
